Welcome to True North Counseling

True North Counseling offers a wide variety of certified counseling services to individuals, teenagers, and families struggling with crises in Louisville, Kentucky.

When we founded True North Counseling, our mission was to help as many people as possible overcome their personal barriers and obstacles. Often, these barriers and obstacles prevent people from finding their true selves.  The team of counselors at True North Counseling are committed to helping people find themselves by finding their own personal True North.

Our mission remains the same today.

Together, our True North counselors have many years of experience in varying fields of therapy including individual therapy, teen therapy, and family therapy. Our counselors are highly equipped to provide thoughtful intervention to people in crisis and to those who may respond well to a behavioral method. We offer Board Certified Behavior Analysts who are licensed to address conflicts within families, as well as among individuals and teenagers. At True North, we believe in a holistic and mindfulness based approach to therapy. Practicing mindfulness can be beneficial for people of every age in that it allows you to develop effective coping mechanisms by simply being aware of your present state of mind.

If you are struggling with managing your emotional well-being, are a member of a family who has trouble communicating, or are a concerned parent who is worried that their child is struggling, reach out to our team of counselors at True North Counseling today.

You can learn more about the services we offer at True North Counseling, or contact us for more information. If you’d like to speak to a counselor today, call 502-435-9226 or visit our contact page to learn more.
